Base Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Rolled oats
  • 1 tsp. Baking soda
  • 3 Medium, ripe & spotty bananas. (Or 2large)
  • 3 – 5 tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • Cinnamon
  • Salt
  • Toppings (chocolate, nuts, bananas, etc)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease a loaf pan, or line with parchment paper.
  2. Blend oats and baking soda until flour-like. Set aside in a bowl. Add salt/cinnamon/seasonings here.
  3. Blend bananas, 2 eggs, and maple syrup until combined.
  4. Combine wet, dry, and toppings. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Pour your batter into your loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 23 – 25 minutes, until knife/toothpick inserted comes out clean. (Most of the time it takes me around 30 minutes)
  7. Leave out to cool.
